Pay And Reward Specialist (Hybrid/working from home) needed in Oxford, £26.85ph PAYE – Reference: 440592
Approximate days in the office is twice a month and rest working from home.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead or be involved in the development of innovative pay, benefits and reward projects.
2. Develop pay benchmarking solutions, ensuring the Client remains competitive within the pay market at median to upper quartile.
3. Support the modernisation of client-wide pay structures.
4. Build, develop, and lead a job evaluation panel to ensure demand and outcomes are met.
5. Ensure appropriate methodology is used to size job roles for different staff groups.
6. Design and embed total reward approaches, including a range of pay and benefits for all roles across the Client.
7. Research and make recommendations on current and upcoming pay and reward trends.
8. Develop reward policies, procedures, and practices that are fit for purpose, underpinned by effective governance and controls.
9. Collaborate with colleagues across the HR and Cultural Change Service to ensure a holistic approach to employee reward and benefits.
10. Collaborate with the Communications team to promote and raise awareness of the total reward package.
11. Oversee digital systems development, testing, and implementation, relating to pay and reward.
12. Promote excellent employee relations through negotiations and consultation with trade unions.
13. Ensure all pay and reward strategy and implementation is based on a thorough understanding of organisational need.
This is a Full role on a temporary contract basis.
