Your responsibility & Tasks ❖ Carry out service and maintenance work and professionally complete all necessary paperwork. ❖ Partake in a 24 hour 7 day week call out rota system. (Currently one in seven – Katie might want to exclude ) ❖ Report all health and safety issues directly to line manager ❖ Observe and test system operation, using gauges and instruments. ❖ Test lines, components, and connections for leaks. ❖ Strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose, trouble shoot and repair issues ❖ Able to read schematics and drawings to determine location, size, capacity, and type of components to repair and maintenance refrigeration systems ❖ Competent in basic electrics ❖ Perform refrigerant reclaiming. ❖ Conduct repairs as needed ❖ Competent and able to carry out installations of refrigeration components : expansion and control valves, mount compressor, condenser, evaporators and other components ❖ Working in a busy food production facility following site hydyne rules ❖ Undertake overtime when required to assist with service works ❖ Competent at Brazing ❖ Keep records of repairs and replacements made and causes of malfunctions. ❖ Schedule work with customers along side the office and initiate work orders, house requisitions and orders from stock. ❖ Fabricate and assemble structural and functional components of refrigeration and air conditioning systems, using hand tools, power tools and brazing equipment ❖ Produce details for service quotations in an office environment where required under the instruction of management. ❖ Ability to work independently and as part of a team ❖ To report all business opportunities to the service, maintenance or regional manager. ❖ To act in a professional, courteous and business like manner at all times to enhance the reputation and ‘presence’ of the company in the marketplace ❖ Submit electronic timesheets promptly and accurately ❖ Preferred Location for Harrow and Park Royal, Wembley London to support a busy food factory ❖ This role requires a hands-on practical approach ❖ Training and the advancement into the Industrial refrigeration ❖ Be available for Out of Hours work if and when call upon Your profile and qualifications ❖ Commercial Refrigeration experience – 5 years ❖ City & Guilds (2079) F GAS ❖ City & Guilds (2078) Ammonia Safe Handling Beneficial but not required ❖ C02, Hydrocarbon qualifications ❖ Ability to follow technical drawings, building plans, and other instructions ❖ Ability to work carefully, methodically and safely GEA Benefit Package ❖ Competitive salary plus overtime ❖ Company van ❖ 25 days holiday plus additional days for long service ❖ Private healthcare ❖ Company pension ❖ Group income protection ❖ Employee discount scheme
