About Us: A thriving secondary school located in the heart of Towcester, committed to providing a supportive and dynamic learning environment for their students. We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Cover Supervisors.
Job Description: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education for our students in the absence of their regular teachers. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
* Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment.
* Delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring students stay on task.
* Supporting students with their learning and addressing any questions or concerns.
* Collaborating with teaching staff and other cover supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
* A degree in any discipline.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
* A positive and proactive attitude.
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
* A valid driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
