What you’ll do
As the Commercial Finance Manager you will be pivotal in driving and shaping the future growth of Vodafone Business. Key areas of focus will be providing full financial accuracy & transparency, meaningful and value add financial insight and high-quality commercial analysis including P&L performance. You will also provide first class financial decision support and will be accountable for the following:
1. Business Partnering: Be a trusted advisor and partner to Head of Sales to execute in line with VB strategy. Advising on and working at pace to drive key decisions to action. Supporting and challenging appropriately.
2. Financial Integrity: Ensure transparency, alignment, insight and ensuring financial integrity of the segment. Working closely with the Financial Operations team to ensure the P&L is accurate and fully understood.
3. Financial Analysis & Insight: Provide appropriate management information, KPI’s and insight to articulate financial performance/current trends against key strategic initiatives.
4. Collaboration: Collaborate across multiple teams including Sales & Commercial ensuring these functions are aligned on their objectives and working together.
5. Financial Planning: Lead on financial planning, rolling forecasts and 9+15. Ensure plans are aligned with the overall segment strategy, reflecting ambition and strategic thinking.
6. P&L Management: Take ownership of delivering against segment targets holding the business to account on performance. Ensure risks and opportunities are clearly outlined proactively and worked through with the core team to identify mitigating actions.
Who you are
Essential:
* ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified.
* Demonstrable communication skills with senior stakeholder experience.
* Experience operating in a broad range of Finance roles with evidence of driving strong commercial performance.
* Strong analytical skills- PowerBI, Excel skills.
Desirable:
Previous experience working in large corporate organisations with complex programmes.
