Role Overview:
This role involves managing a team of highly energised and productive SDRs (Sales Development Representatives) to consistently deliver a high volume of quality new business meetings.
This role is based in Wilmslow, Cheshire

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Team Management: Accountable for the performance and results of the SDR team.
* KPI Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators.
* Meetings and 1-1s: Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-ones to promote success and address underperformance.
* Motivation: Energise the team to ensure consistent activity.
* Training Support: Assist the internal trainer in embedding sales skills and identifying skill gaps.
* Employee Lifecycle Management: Handle induction, probation, performance management, CPD, etc., for direct reports.
* Sales Skills Demonstration: Exhibit excellent sales skills relevant to an SDR role to maintain credibility as a leader.
* CRM Management: Ensure accurate CRM records are maintained by direct reports.
* Sales Tools Utilisation: Demonstrate and monitor the use of internal sales tools to improve performance.
* Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment and selection of SDRs as needed.
KPIs:
* Effective management of each SDR’s probation.
* Achievement of SDR team targets (meetings booked, meetings attended, deals achieved).
* Promotion eligibility for SDRs within 2 years of start date.
* Demonstration of company values.
Criteria:
* At least two years of line management experience.
* Proven success in a junior/intermediate sales role.
* Experience in a commission-driven role (desirable).
* Experience in a commercial education setting (desirable).
* Thorough understanding of the sales cycle and key sales skills.
* Knowledge of good performance management practices.
* Proficiency in using a CRM.
* IT-literate with the ability to produce high-standard reports and presentations.
* Strong line management skills.
* Effective communication with both junior and senior colleagues.
* Ability to manage individual and team performance effectively.
* Strong planning and prioritisation skills.
* Commercially-minded and professional.
* Collaborative approach with a focus on outcomes.
