- THE ROLE -
Ulster University requires a Research Governance and Integrity Officer to join its Research & Innovation Directorate. The ideal candidate should possess excellent research management, communication and project delivery skills, as well as a strong working knowledge of research governance, ethics and integrity policy, procedure and guidance development, implementation, management and review.
The postholder will work closely with colleagues in the Research Governance team and others in Research & Innovation to ensure that common policy and process developments maintain momentum and are developed and implemented successfully.
- ABOUT YOU -
1. You will acquire, maintain and be able to communicate an overview and understanding of the regulatory, policy and governance landscape relating to human research and research integrity, with a particular focus on medical, pharmaceutical and device studies.
2. You will significantly contribute to the development of policies and procedures which enable the University to initiate, manage and successfully deliver clinical and other studies in a complex and demanding regulatory environment.
3. You will collaborate with and support academic and research staff in senior roles in developing local policies, procedures and guidance to run regulated research studies.
