Responsibility:
Within this role your main focus will be identifying, cultivating, and closing £5M+ in annual revenue through large, multi-year Managed Legal Services contracts.
Be the senior role demands a strategic and proactive approach to developing business relationships and positioning the company as the right partner for outsourced commercial contracting and data privacy solutions.
Your success will be driven by your industry knowledge, contacts network and direct contact with senior legal decision makers, employing innovative strategies to uncover and secure new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Meet with General Counsels, Heads of Legal, and other senior executives at enterprise-level organisations to understand their challenges and present tailored solutions.
* Attend meetings and networking events, conferences and industry forums to connect with potential clients.
* Conduct in-depth research to identify high-potential prospects and industries.
* Work with your network of senior legal professionals to secure introductions and referrals.
* Initiate targeted outreach campaigns, including personalised emails, phone calls, and LinkedIn messages, to generate leads.
* Collaborate with marketing to craft compelling content campaigns that resonate with legal decision-makers.
* Develop strategic partnerships with complementary service providers to uncover joint opportunities.
* Host exclusive, high-touch events to senior legal professionals.
* Build relationships with industry associations, legal tech providers, and consulting firms to identify referral opportunities.
* Monitor news and trends to identify businesses undergoing changes (e.g., mergers, compliance needs) that may require legal tech solutions.
* Own the end-to-end sales cycle, conducting discovery sessions to uncover pain points, presenting bespoke solutions, leading negotiations, and closing deals.
* Maintain a robust pipeline of potential opportunities to ensure consistent deal flow and attainment of annual targets.
To be considered for this role you must have:
* Extensive legal tech New Business Development / Sales experience within a Director or Senior Manager role.
* Have experience of commercial contracting, data privacy, and legal operations.
* demonstrated success in developing and executing innovative business development strategies to win large, multi-year contracts.
Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and are highly self-motivated to independently build relationships and explore creative avenues for generating new business.
