Broster Buchanan are partnered with a leading retail goods supplier who are looking for an ERP Business Analyst to join at a pivotal point of business growth and expansion. This is an exciting new role which will help to enable the major transformation of the business’s technology platforms. This would suit someone with good process and gap analysis experience within a manufacturing/FMCG (or similar) environment, with key technologies like ERP and WMS.The role is being offered with a salary of £40k - £50k and would require someone near Alconbury, near Huntingdon, as the role will be onsite 3 days per week on average with core hours of 8 - 5 Monday - Friday. Responsibilities: Responsibility for developing new business models and identifying necessary process changes to streamline critical workstreams and drive efficiency. Identifying unarticulated business needs and coordinating between stakeholder groups to address them. Supporting the entire life cycle of critical application (ERP & WMS) solutions including discovery, design, build, test and data management. Defining and documenting the “as-is” and “to-be” core business processes and clearing defining the end-to-end business journeys. Understanding the customer journey and translating it into the appropriate medium (i.e. user stories / FDD/TDD) that enable systems to align to the core business processes to enable our customers. Identify, challenge, and agree the business benefits achievable through digital transformation and build the framework to track these benefits. The prototyping and co-design of innovative solutions whilst coaching business users to make use of technology and information. Analysing the impact (good or bad) of expected outcomes on the ERP & WMS solution, in terms of people, processes and technologies to ensure business outcomes are devised and successfully achieved. Determining the information (data) requirements with which to guide data management and integration decisions. Requirements: A proven track record as a business analyst within a manufacturing/FMCG environment, with exposure to processes such as Warehousing, Supply Chain, Procurement or Manufacturing. Ability to gather and translate functional and non-functional requirements to an agreed standard. Ability to run events that identify problems and iterate solutions to enhance the business requirements. Exposure to relevant industry technologies, particularly WMS and ERP systems Ability to work with data to identify patterns and form conclusions that may challenge current processes, identifying and rectifying and issues or inefficiencies Excellent communication with the ability to convey complex and technical business issues to diverse audiences, including technical and non technical stakeholders Deliver solutions within the appropriate framework and methodology whilst ensuring the supportability of services delivered.
