Hospitality Co-ordinator - Twickenham It is an exciting time to consider joining the Barchester family in a newly created position to support the projects team across our new builds team in the role of Hospitality Coordinator. This is a national role supporting our new builds and refurbishment projects across the country. With over 25 years' experience, nearly 240 care homes, and six independent hospitals, Barchester is one of the UK's biggest premium care providers. We are also leading one of the fastest growing new build programmes aiming to open 10 brand new purpose-built homes per year. In the role of Hospitality Coordinator you will be supporting the projects teams, to ensure that Barchester meets its hospitality standards; complies with legislation and meets the Barchester standards whilst maintaining a good commercial performance. MAIN RESPONSABILITIES Drive the Barchester brand and business growth through the delivery of hospitality excellence in the catering, housekeeping and laundry provisions To ensure that the hospitality training are delivered to maximum performance Assisting in the implementation of the chefs academy for coaching and development of second chefs and kitchen assistants Provide operational insight to grow occupancy and deliver customer and client satisfaction Ensure menu and food development are of a high quality and meets customer expectations Ensure the dining experience training is carried out according to the Barchester standards Supporting with new Hospitality initiatives being launched by Head of Hospitality Supporting the new builds VIP events and Head Chefs inductions ABOUT YOU Demonstrate passion making a difference to our residents lives and to encourage residents to maintain independence and choice in a homely environment Hold a UK driving licence to help support several homes across the UK Hold City and Guilds 706/2, Advanced Cooking or NVQ Level 3, Catering Diploma or Certificate in Management studies or equivalent Hold a level 3 or 4 Food Hygiene Certificate Background in catering or hotel management Show courtesy and respect to residents and relatives and retain the confidentiality of residents and their families at all times Have passion and desire to be supportive and engaged with residents and families Barchester have proudly been awarded a two-star outstanding rating by Best Companies, ranked 11th in the top 20 Best Health & Social Care Companies to work for and 14th in the Top 25 Best Big Companies to Work For in the UK.
