Rotating shift pattern- Week one: 06:00 to 14:30, Monday to Friday. Week two: 14:00 to 22:30, Monday to Friday.
1 in 2 Saturdays, paid at overtime.

As a commercial vehicle Technician for Rygor Service Solutions, part of the Rygor Group, your role is to keep our customer’s vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant maintenance. We are committed to investing in your career and skill set, so when you join our technical team at our Grantham fleet workshop, you will benefit from BPW and LOLER training, as well as online H&S e learnings.
Day to day, you will be:
1. Performing major and minor repairs to heavy goods vehicles, trailers and other vehicles
2. Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotation and oil changes
3. Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust
4. Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles
5. Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled
6. Providing repair services to clients on the road in case of emergencies
7. Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management
This role will be a great fit for you if:
8. Industry qualifications achieved to a minimum of Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or mechanical engineering (all modules completed) – Heavy Vehicle Qualification
9. Previous working experience as an HGV technician with a strong technical background
10. You are confident using technology
