Job Summary
Due to a recent promotion, the Wellbeing & Emotional Support Teams (WEST) is seeking an operational lead to lead one of our South Worcestershire teams.
Our service provides evidenced based early interventions for CYP ages 5 - 18 experiencing mental health problems in Herefordshire & Worcestershire.

Core to this role is the monitoring of quality and performance via line management supervision. We are set up for virtual working, but days in localities will be expected.
We are a Monday-Friday 9-5pm service that actively encourages flexible working.

Main duties of the job

Job responsibilities
* Act as a role model to colleagues, always seeking to maintain the highest standards of professionalism.

* Lead, coordinate & develop the provision of an effective & efficient service for CYP.
* Provide day to day leadership, support & supervision of the staff within the MHSTiS as well as supporting the service lead to provide a seamless service.
* Support the effective triaging of patients referred to the teams, supporting the co-ordinated care delivery across the patient pathway.
* Provide expert clinical holistic assessment & evidence based pro-active & reactive interventions to support patients & their carers.
* Lead the teams in the implementation of integrated MDT care planning ensuring patients receive high quality, patient-focussed care at all times.

Skills & Abilities Essential
* Ability to work proactively with key stakeholders in Health, Educational settings
* Ability to give clear and concise reports against performance targets
* Able to maintain judgement and cope in stressful situations
* Self-motivated / directed and able to motivate others
* Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
Qualifications Essential
* Registered Practitioner with current registration (i.e. Health / Social Care / Education professional)
* Evidence of relevant post graduate courses / Continual Professional Development maintained in portfolio

* Masters Qualification or working towards
