This is a home-based role with 2 days a week in the Midlands at a state-of-the-art plant, one of the largest & best-invested facilities in Europe.
We are offering a fantastic Category Manager opportunity to join a food manufacturer that supplies both instantly recognizable brands and own label chilled quality products.
Our client has been present in the UK for over 50 years and is today one of the leading suppliers of chilled products in the UK, exporting to over 110 countries.
Your role will involve developing and leading the strategic category vision and growth opportunities within the major multiples.
You will leverage your proven experience in FMCG food Category Management and conduct range and category performance reviews.
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships is essential, as your recommendations and analytical approach will influence the category agenda.
A flexible attitude, hands-on “can do” approach, and the ability to act on your own initiative are crucial for success.
Cross-functional collaboration is required, and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships is vital.
You will utilize various data sources such as Kantar, Nielsen, and retail link to identify market trends, consumer insights, pricing, and commercial changes, as well as future growth opportunities in this fast-paced competitive market.
