About Finance
Finance is here to serve our customers who are the senior managers and board of directors of Kirintec. We report on the performance of the business. We strive to be a trusted partner and make sure there are no surprises. We will provide high quality, reliable, timely and accurate information that will support the business with its decision making.
This role is a key role within Finance.
Main duties of the position
1. Handle all of the Groups finance functions including accounting, financial reporting, financial forecasting and budgeting.
2. Monthly management accounts and other reporting, as required.
3. Forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, cash flow and cash management.
4. Performing / oversight of all regulatory functions, including monthly VAT return and monthly EC sales list, and similar.
5. Organising and managing financial audits to comply with current legislation both in UK and overseas.
6. Management of daily accounts routines, journals, bank transactions, prepayments, accruals, maintenance of fixed asset register, timely and controlled supplier payments, reconciliations.
7. Responsible for stock control ensuring strong controls are in place.
8. All Payroll and pensions administration, UK and Overseas.
9. Controlling costs and working with both budget holders to drive efficiency and cost savings.
10. Line management of accounts payable staff.
11. Support senior managers providing guidance and reporting.
12. Liaison with the Company’s external accountants, to plan and complete year-ends, tax planning, calculations and returns.
13. Liaison with the Company’s bankers in UK and Overseas.
14. Support staff on Sage50 access and training.
15. Oversee and take responsibility for credit control.
16. Any other reasonable duties required to support the company in meeting its objectives.
17. Have due regard for PV Grading, F680 and Export Licence Controls.
18. Working to Kirintec’s ISO standards.
19. Adhere to all Kirintec processes and policies.
20. Adhere to the national security framework in accordance with Security Requirements for FSC Contractors.

1. Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).

1. Microsoft Project/Visio.
Hours
Nominally 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Probation
3 months.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Ross-on-Wye: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
Experience:
* Finance: 5 years (required).
Licence/Certification:
* SC Clearance (or are you eligible to hold this) (required).
