Permanent contract, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
This role is key in supporting Job Coaches to provide an outstanding provision for both SEND students and employers. Supporting interns to be successful in their employment, provide an appropriate level of support and guidance in the workplace and to engage with employers to develop appropriate and realistic employment opportunities for young people on a Supported Internship.

Key Responsibilities
* To support the Job Coaches in providing an outstanding provision for both SEND students and employers.
* Work with the Job coaches to ensure the quality of provision and outcomes for learners are high.
* To liaise with the Curriculum Team Lead, providing accurate records.
* Keep accurate records of job coaching support provided and shared with relevant staff.
* Keep accurate records of progress, hours of work and any issues that may arise for the Supported Interns.
* Work in partnership, representing the college, with students, employers and parents/carers.
* Work closely with internal stake holders to ensure opportunities for employment for learners in Foundation Learning are maximised.
* Ensure that the College presents a consistent and coherent representation to external and internal stake holders and to ensure all interested parties are kept informed.
* Liaise with the host businesses providing a link between the employer’s needs and college training with particular attention to any literacy and numeracy needs. To use the information to develop sessions and individualise targets for students.
* Support learners with their Access to Work applications.
* To support with student assessments, interviews, inductions and open days where needed.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* 5 GCSEs at Grade A* to C or grade 4 and above including Maths and English (or equivalent).
* Knowledge of a sensory based learning environment with the Foundation Learning Provision
* Full, clean, driving licence
