Job Description Programme Manager Full-Time Derby/Hybrid (3 days minimum a week on-site) An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Trent 1000 Taskforce for a Programme Manager to join our team. What you will be doing: The Trent 1000 is a critically important engine for Rolls-Royce and it’s fundamentally important that we get it right for our customers. The Trent 1000 Taskforce comprises of co-located teams from Programme Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management and Maintenance Repair and Overhaul, in one place to ensure the right level of focus every day on the issues that matter. Our job is to make sure that by 2026, the Trent 1000 engine is fully competitive and that we’ve implemented all the fixes required, so that we’ve not only restored fleet health but also, we have a product that can win and capture a greater market share. As a Programme Manager you will be accountable for leading packages of work within the Programmes and Portfolio Team. Responsibilities In this role, you’ll be accountable for the successful delivery to cost, specification and time for a defined package of work within the Team. You will also: Have Team leadership responsibilities, including the planning and prioritisation of a cross functional team where some members of the team are likely to be in other locations. Be responsible for the creation and management of an integrated set of plans / schedules. Develop and secure budgets for the project(s) and control the forecast and actual costs against the allocated budget. Ensure the effective & efficient implementation of company management processes and implement Programme Management best practice. Why Rolls-Royce?
