Job Overview Act as a placement broker for commercial business receiving risks from circa 230 Cobra Network brokers. Responsibilities and Duties Builds and maintains relationship with key existing network members
Works towards department targets.
Develops strategies and goals for the development and management of these accounts, in collaboration with Broking Desk manager
Serves as the primary contact for members and provides day-to-day support, service and advice to brokers.
Liaises with brokers and other colleagues to ensure all relevant information is gathered in the preparation of annual renewals and endorsements.
Understands brokers needs and applies knowledge of risks and the insurance market to find and arrange suitable insurance coverage and policies; acts in the interest of the clients and offers products from more than one insurer to secure the optimal insurance solution.
May identify, develop and close new sales opportunities by creating demand and awareness of the organization's products among existing brokers.
