We are delighted to be partnering with a prestigious law firm based in Sheffield City Centre with the recruitment of an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist on a fixed-term contract (12 months):

The purpose of the role is to provide accurate, efficient and timely processing of the group payrolls whilst supporting the Payroll team and providing cover for the Payroll & Benefits Manager through a period of change.
* Supervising the daily operation of the payroll team & weekly tasks to include monthly payroll sign-off, and creation of BAC's, RTIS's & EPS returns.
* Processing payroll for 2,200 employees including all relevant administration.
* Deputising for the Manager and building relationships with HR Business Partners, HR Benefits team and key internal stakeholders.
* Reconciling month-end accounts and recharges.
* Dealing with employee payroll queries.
* Working with the Payroll & Benefits Manager on system improvements and efficiencies.
* Supporting with the update of the benefits systems and payroll databases with any relevant changes.
* Other ad hoc duties as required.
