We are currently recruiting for an Operational Excellence Coordinator to join our Ochils Site team. This role focuses on championing continuous improvement activities, ensuring efficient management of our natural sourced water products, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, legality, and quality.
Main Purpose of Job:
To coach and collaborate with the site team in implementing the Operational Excellence strategy, supporting continuous improvement activities to enhance operational performance and colleague capability.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
* Support daily operations in delivering site KPIs (LE, CTP, CTC, OEE, PPL).
* Facilitate continuous improvement activities to boost operational performance.
* Share and adopt best practices within manufacturing and the broader business.
* Coach operational teams on their OpEx journey.
* Review and enhance standards, settings, and SOPs across all processes.
* Utilize SMED and TPM techniques to improve changeovers and machine settings.
* Conduct regular audits to support the Multi-Layer Confirmation process.
* Manage larger change projects, ensuring sustainable implementation.
Continuous Improvement (CI):
* Facilitate CI tools to support daily operations (RCA, SIC, Gemba).
* Promote the Improvement AIRs process to encourage team engagement and follow-up actions.
* Support the daily, weekly, and monthly OpEx rhythm.
People Development:
* Train operators in CI tools.
* Influence the team towards an OpEx culture.
* Participate in workshops to develop manufacturing teams.
Teamwork:
* Be the visible exemplar for OpEx on site, open to challenges and contributions from others.
* Provide leadership, advice, and support to Team Leaders.
* Maintain motivation and engagement within the Ochils Manufacturing teams.

About You:
Qualifications & Experience:
* Knowledge and experience in best practice operations management (Operational Excellence, Total Productive Maintenance, CI tools).
* Proven operational knowledge and influencing ability.
* Project experience and exposure.
* Ideally experience of working in a manufacturing environment
* Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to develop and implement reporting for operational KPIs.
* Excellent relationship building and communication.
* Influencing skills, both with and without authority.
* Change management experience.
Knowledge:
* Best practice operations management.
* Operational excellence methodology.
* Desirable: Knowledge of food manufacturing, hygiene, quality systems, and health & safety systems.
