Think FE is proudly working with an independent specialist day college for young people with learning disabilities and difficulties. We are looking for a Careers Advisor to bolster their already successful IAG team. The college offers tailored programmes designed to meet the individual needs of each learner.
Job Purpose:
You will ensure learners receive high-quality, independent careers advice, empowering them to make informed decisions about their futures.
In this post, you will be a key member of the Information, Advice, and Guidance team, supporting activities to provide comprehensive support to students. You will also work closely with the WayFinder team to help learners on the Employability Pathway identify career options that align with their skills and interests, while assisting students on other Pathways to plan their future careers.
Role Responsibilities:
Offer independent careers advice to SEND learners.
Collaborate with tutors to discuss career options and provide holistic support.
Prepare students for interviews and future career opportunities. Who are we looking for?
You must hold a Level 6 CEIAG qualification.
Experience working with SEND learners is highly desirable. This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people with additional needs to achieve meaningful and rewarding career outcomes.
