An exciting opportunity has opened up to join our team as a Booking & Scheduling Clerk Band 3 based at Salford Royal Hospital / Turnpike House.
With demand on our services at an all time high the role our department provides has never been more critical.
Team Members are required to work on a rota system to cover
8.00am – 6.00pm Monday – Friday
As a Senior Booking Clerk your main duties will cover:
Managing waiting lists by priority and date order
Booking those next on the list to a date and time that suits them
Answering and signposting general enquiries from patients calling our appointments line
Working collaboratively with the directorate team to ensure the capacity & demand balance is right
Organising your workload to meet our KPI’s
To do this we need you to:
Be able to prioritise your workload effectively
Pride yourself on being organised
Have an excellent eye for detail
Be confident using a computer and Microsoft Office (in particular Excel)
Have an excellent telephone manner
Be able to communicate effectively and manage patient expectation
Strive to give our patients an excellent customer service
Be enthusiastic, resilient, confident, and committed
