Employee Communications and Engagement Manager – until end Dec 2025 Reigate & London - Hybrid (2 days in Reigate, 1 in London City) We have an exciting opportunity for an Employee Communications and Engagement Manager to join us until the end of December 2025. In this role you will develop communication and engagement strategies and plans, bringing what we do and how we do it to life for 2 business areas. Reporting into the Director of Employee Communications and Engagement, you will lead and support various activities, including sharing our employee survey results and supporting action planning, organising virtual and face to face events and drafting news items for our intranet. You will also support Executive team members with their own communication and engagement programmes and provide relevant advice and insight. Key responsibilities Develop departmental engagement and communication strategies and action plans using a variety of channels, targeted to relevant audiences, with appropriate feedback measures in place Own local town halls and other appropriate internal communication events – from logistics through to content delivery Draft emails and scripts for Exec team members, and help to be their ‘eyes and ears Draft relevant communications and ‘hold the pen’ from initial drafting through to publication (including on the intranet) Support the delivery and results cascade of the employee engagement surveys, supporting the HRBP to communicate results and draft local action plans Work with the Group Communications and Engagement team to support Group wide initiatives and ensure messages are shared appropriately within the function Stay abreast of best practice making suggestions to enhance communication and engagement Skills and Experience: To be a success in this role, we are looking for someone with experience in an employee internal communications / engagement role, as well as the following: Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal Significant and proven experience of drafting copy for a range of audiences Experience of developing, implementing and managing communication and engagement strategies and operational plans Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills Strong event management skills Experience of engagement strategies and using tools (such as Peakon) Degree in communications or related subject (desirable) Company Benefits A Competitive Salary, Pension Scheme and Life Assurance Along with 25 Days Annual Leave plus an Additional Day on us for your Birthday Private Medical Cover and Income Protection, just in case Opportunity to progress within your career both in-role and within the company FREE access to the Headspace App, a 24/7 Employee Assistance Helpline and Trained Physical & Mental Health First Aiders (On-Site) A variety of Employee Funded Benefits available to you via our Online Benefits Portal Plus, several additional purchase options available for you and your loved ones About Us We’re a FTSE 250 Financial Services company who specialise in retirement solutions and right now, our world is moving pretty quickly.
