We have an exciting opportunity to work as a member of the Trust Team, providing family office-type services to clients and their families.
We are recruiting a Trust Senior responsible for managing a dedicated portfolio of clients. In this London-based role, you will liaise with colleagues from the firm’s Trust Team and other departments, such as Personal Tax. You will also work with solicitors, HMRC, stockbrokers, and professional bodies to achieve the best outcomes for your clients.
What You’ll Do
This role requires working as part of a medium-sized team of accounting professionals responsible for various Trusts, including charities, estates and probates. You get your portfolio of clients and provide a family office–type administrative service to individual clients and their families.
The responsibilities of this role include:
1. Preparing returns and accounts for client trusts and estates
2. Advising clients on winding up their trusts
3. Helping with tax payment management and income distribution among beneficiaries
4. Developing and staying up to date with estate, trust, and probate tax skills
5. Responding and adapting to HMRC policy resulting from cases
6. Filing inheritance tax and capital gains tax forms as required
7. Ensuring the proper registration of trusts.
