My client, a specialist joinery manufacturer that produces handcrafted furniture and joinery for high-end shop fits and the residential market, is looking to recruit a Production Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Processing all work and projects requiring manufacturing by compiling a production pack.
2. Taking projects from 'sketch' stage through to 'production-pack' stage ready for the workshop, which may include client and supplier liaison, site surveys, creative problem solving, sourcing of products, materials, and ironmongery, and team discussions.
3. Ensuring that the factory always has a supply of completed production packs to draw upon.
4. Being available to any member of staff for discussions regarding any project.
5. Working with third parties and subcontractors in support of the above.
6. Collaborating with the Operations and Workshop Manager to fulfill company targets and objectives.
7. Assisting in the quality control process.
8. Ordering materials for projects.
9. Keeping the work schedule updated for the workshop.
10. Cutting sheets.
11. Ensuring the install/delivery team has a delivery note for the client to sign.
12. Helping to organize logistics around installation, advising the Office Manager of anything that needs to be booked, such as hotels and parking.
