Job summary We have co-produced a bereavement pathway that follows families throughout the bereavement pathway whilst also supporting staff to give personalised and holistic bereavement care Main duties of the job The role of the band 6 Bereavement Midwife is to provide continuity of care to women and their families who experience pregnancy loss through to a subsequent pregnancy. They will be an advocate for women and their families in accordance with the philosophy and standards of care within the area, ensuring that Trust values and beliefs are upheld. The Bereavement midwife has a fundamental role in the delivery of high standards of bereavement and midwifery care, ensuring an environment that is conducive to wellbeing.
