With a positive “Can Do” attitude and by providing a high level of customer satisfaction. Meeting company targets for retention, growth, and profitability, and to contribute to the success of the company, whilst maintaining the reputation of Pidy at the highest level. This role is suited to someone with a catering background, that can help bring our products to life through presentation and recipe ideas. This role will report to the commercial manager and be supported by the operations director and operation assistants. Full time role + Salary Competitive + Car Allowance + Commission & BonusMain Role Responsibilities: Plan and implement sales and customer retention and developmentAttend exhibitions, food shows, build relationships through networking eventsSupport the commercial team with culinary presentation and recipe ideas from their experience in catering, to promote the Pidy brand.Monitor sales targetsDevelop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term successAct as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring clients’ requirements are metIdentify and attract prospective strategic customersNegotiate terms & promotional activityCollect and analyse sales data and trendsMaintain high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standardsStay up to date with internal and external developments and suggest new ways to increase salesEffective communication skills both internally and externally, face to face, phone, and emailSupport the commercial manager by undertaking any other reasonable duties requiredTake a lead role in commercial negotiations with wholesalers Introduce new products and implement gap analysis with upsellingMaintain administration and update relevant reporting systemsPresent and demonstrate Pidy products where necessaryAttend end user customer visits with wholesaler reps & Ra Ra Days/educational daysKey Requirements:Proven experience with fast moving customer goodsYou already have experience as an account manager and a catering backgroundYou have an existing network in the food sectorCommunication is key, both internally and externally, face-to-face, by phone and by email You must be prepared to travel in the UK, France, and BelgiumHave exceptional culinary skills for product presentationSkilled at building and managing multiple relationships, internally and within our customer baseAbility to work efficiently to deadlines and resilience to adapt when challenges arise
