About the role
At Holland & Barrett the customer comes first. UXR team plays a crucial role in understanding our users and developing the right digital solutions for them.
We're hiring a UX Research Manager as a maternity cover to lead our team of researchers. We need a strong leader with a proven track record of managing the team, aligning researchers to business objectives, creating culture of knowledge sharing and a robust research practice.
* Lead, coach, and empower a team of UX researchers that can balance autonomy with collaboration
* Lead on team culture, processes, and documentation, improving the craft and promoting best practices
* Drive process and workflow improvements that will enable the team to work more efficiently and collaborate more effectively with wider teams
* Advance the sharing and synthesis of customer insights across UX and other customer data sources
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the wider organization
* Develop improved ways of measuring customer experience outcomes, and design reporting mechanisms to make UX Research success metrics visible for stakeholders
* Manage Research platforms and knowledge repository, and promote knowledge sharing of research within the organisation
* Manage quarterly data analysis feeding into product strategy and design direction
* Actively support the collaboration among researchers and knowledge sharing sessions in the team.

* Expert Experience in UX Research
* Proven track record of mentoring and managing the team
* Stakeholder management
* Delivering cross functional projects
* Solving complex problems
* Commercial mindset and the ability to spot an opportunity
* Understanding of market dynamics & trends
* Good understanding of financial performance
* Online e-commerce background (nice to have)
