What we can offer you; 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays Access to our company pension scheme Free physiotherapy service Discounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers Access to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to Ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential What you'll be doing; Lead and supervise mechanical engineering teams across multiple sites and workshop environments Serve as senior technical advisor for complex troubleshooting of dewatering equipment and M&E projects Perform complex asset overhauls and mechanical repairs on dewatering equipment, pumps, and related systems Manage day-to-day supervision of employees and contractors under CDM regulations Act as Technical Lead for maintenance and repair of dewatering equipment at water treatment facilities Ensure efficient asset operation while minimizing downtime and environmental risks Complete necessary documentation including test reports, permits, and technical assessments Serve as primary customer liaison while coordinating with on-site teams and contractors What we're looking for; Level 3 NVQ or recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering maintenance Valid UK driving license and essential certifications (Compex, SSSTS, CSCS Gold Card) Current safety qualifications including Confined Space, First Aid, and IOSH training Minimum 10 years experience in industrial dewatering environments At least 10 years experience leading mechanical installation and maintenance works Minimum 5 years experience in water/sewage treatment plant asset management Preferred additional certifications: Clean Water, SHEA Water, DSEAR Awareness, PASMA Demonstrated leadership experience in mechanical engineering operations What's next?
