We are looking for someone to support our Domestic Abuse Housing Hub, based in the Housing Access Service. The Housing Access Service is a multi disciplinary service which provides a comprehensive housing advice and options service designed to prevent homelessness and rough sleeping, help customers find realistic and sustainable housing solutions which meet their needs from a range of options and allocate available council homes. The Domestic Abuse Housing Hub provides a wide range of housing support and advice to those experiencing Domestic Abuse, including a full homelessness service, support with rehousing and also support to remain in current homes through the provision of Sanctuary Scheme measures.
This role will provide a wide range of support to the team including information gathering for pre-tenancy work and the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference process, registering housing applications onto Hull City Council’s housing list and supporting applicants with their housing options, along with other more general administrative duties such as effective and accurate record keeping, dealing with highly sensitive information.
