Job Title: School Support Manager
Contract: Full-time, temp-perm
Location: Accrington, BB5
Start date: Ideally ASAP
Main Purpose / Responsibility:
To actively support and model the ethos and aims of the Trust.
As the school’s leading support staff professional the Support Manager is responsible for the following functions:
ü Administration
ü First Aid
ü Payroll changes and management
ü Catering contract
ü Health & Safety
ü Logistical management of internal systems
ü Educational Visits Coordinator
Main Duties:
ü To organise rotas for lunch duties.
ü To be a qualified first aider and to manage and coordinate first aid provision.
ü To manage the school budget in line with the financial regulations.
ü To oversee the purchase requisition process in liaison with the Finance Officer and to approve financial transactions as per the scheme of delegation.
ü To manage the administration team, ensuring that day to day responsibilities are met.
ü Lead the organisation of school events for example open evening, parents’ evenings and community events.
ü Ensure the monthly payroll information is accurate and ensuring returns are submitted on time.
ü Be the Educational Visits Coordinator.
ü Ensure that all duties and responsibilities meet the requirements of GDPR regulations. Bide by confidentiality requirements in relation to duties undertaken in the role.
ü Regularly undertake professional development which maintains and improves expertise and ability to perform your duties.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
