Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for your next challenge in the commercial fit–out sector ? We are working with a leading main contractor that delivers high–quality office fit–out and refurbishment projects across London and the Home Counties.
The Role:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing fast–track fit–out projects ranging from GBP50K to GBP1M, ensuring smooth delivery from start to finish. You will lead a multi–disciplined team, manage subcontractors, oversee programmes, budgets, and health & safety, and act as the key liaison between clients and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee multiple commercial fit–out projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
* Manage subcontractors, site teams, and client expectations
* Ensure health & safety compliance, including risk assessments and method statements
* Monitor project progress, reporting on costs and timelines
* Attend and lead client and project team meetings
* Conduct regular site inspections, snagging, and safety audits
* Contribute to programme planning and scheduling using planning software
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial fit–out
* Background working for a main contractor
* Strong understanding of the construction process
* Ability to manage subcontractors, programmes, and costs
* Experience with health & safety management
* Trade background, technical qualification, or construction–related degree (desirable)
