Paraplanner/Financial Planning Administrator To £35,000 The Company My client has been providing independent financial advice in Northern Ireland for over 30 years. Operating from modern offices in Belfast, they provide advisory services for clients covering the entire financial planning spectrum, from pension and investment management individual estate and succession planning. Due to an internal promotion, the firm wishes to appoint an additional Financial Planning Administrator/Paraplanner to their back-office team to carry out a combination of administration and paraplanning duties. The Role The role is office-based but with potential flexibility for a 4-day week. This role may suit a junior Paraplanner or an experienced Financial Planning Administrator looking to develop their career in paraplanning. You will be an experienced user of Intelliflo Office. Your key responsibilities will include: Processing New Business applications/income withdrawals Maintaining client records on the Intelliflo Office (IO) client management system Responding to client enquiries and resolving client issues in a professional manner Requesting plan information from product providers and sending off letters of authority Working alongside financial advisers to obtain information as part of the process of creating financial reports Issuing invoices and receipts for client fees Preparing suitability reports for new business cases Preparing suitability reports for income withdrawals from drawdown plans (including cashflow models) Preparing post annual review suitability reports where further action is needed, for example fund switches or portfolio rebalancing The Package The starting salary is up to £35,000 plus discretionary bonus, depending on experience, on top of which there is a fantastic benefits package that includes: Pension including 10% employer contribution 4 x salary Death-in-Service Group PMI 22 days holiday plus statutory/bank holidays Financial support for professional examinations Free car parking For an initial confidential chat about this opportunity, without obligation, call Iain Cahoon on.
