Heightened Surveillance Healthcare Assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and hardworking person to join our team at Haslemere Hospital. This environment will provide the successful candidate with opportunities to develop new skills and knowledge in a rehabilitation setting. This role will support the ward with providing 1:2:1 care for patients with complex needs and involve developing the use of newly designed dementia corners.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will have a pivotal role in setting up group and individual activities for patients and much more. The post holder will receive support from our dedicated team and have access to our community practice development sister.

Job Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to enhance patient experience for individual patients or groups of patients who require enhanced care or supervision during their stay in hospital. This will be achieved through close multidisciplinary team working.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* NVQ 3 or equivalent training essential
Knowledge and Skills
* Previous NHS experience
* Working knowledge of medical terminology & patient confidentiality
* Experience of working with vulnerable people
* Experience in working in dementia care
* Ability to express an understanding of audit

£25,329 to £26,958 a year per annum pro rata for part-time INC HCAS.
