Salary : FC5 £27,087.17 to £29,508.69 pro rata

Job Details
We are looking for a highly-skilled Pupil Support Officer who is passionate about improving life chances for all through a professional commitment to leading change and improvement that ensures positive outcomes for our children and young people. As a Pupil Support Officer at Madras College you will work as part of the Pupil Support team. Working under the direction and supervision of the Business Manager and/or DHT for Support, you will provide a safe, secure and inclusive environment for pupils. You will develop positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff, and other services, building pupil confidence and enhancing their ability to learn.
Qualification, Registration and Skill Requirements
* You will be educated to SCQF level 4, which includes National 4 or Standard Grades at General level or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
* Experience of working with young people in an educational setting.
* First Aid at Work qualification is desirable.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
