Job summary Ward 5 are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our dynamic and friendly team. Ward 5 is a 28 bedded ward and is part of the Older Persons Continuing Care (OPCC) pathway as part of Older Persons Services (OPS). We are a ward for medically fit patients waiting discharge and discharge planning. As a team we aim to provide the highest standards of care and improve our patient stay with socialisation on the ward or in our Flower Garden as well as daily activities and music. We work closely as an MDT with Specialist nursing teams, Therapists, Doctors, Nursing staff and Pharmacy. We like to involve patients and their relatives in their care as much as possible.
