Salary grade D £25,183 - £27,269 FTE per annum
Actual Salary £16,027 - £17,355 per annum
MATERNITY LEAVE COVER
The Governors are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant level 2 with SEN. The post holder will be required to work across KS2. This is a Fixed Term Contract for maternity leave, however, there is a possibility of this contract being made permanent to the right candidate.
The Children, Staff and Governors would welcome applications from candidates who have:
1. Excellent literacy and numeracy skills minimum GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
2. Experience and or qualifications within the area of SEND
3. Confidence in implementing strategies to support the child’s learning and development
4. The ability to work as part of a team
5. Be hard working and able to use your own initiative
6. The ability to enable all children, as individuals, to thrive in your care
7. A knowledge of assessing pupils with SEND.
8. Able to set clear boundaries and have experience of a range of behaviour management strategies to promote positive attitudes to learning
