Project/Supporter Engagement/Co-ordinator By joining our Community Fundraising Team you will play a pivotal role in securing donations and support for Dougie Mac by developing and delivering supporter communication campaigns to generate donations for Dougie Mac Hospice. Your communication and project planning skills will be essential when it comes to and maintaining relationships with current and potential new donors. Your skills will be vital in making sure we achieve our hospice income objectives. No two days are ever the same, once one campaign is complete it’s onto the next and your time working on the Fundraising Hub will give an abundance of supporter interaction and variety. Some of what you’ll do: Lead on Individual Giving Campaigns : Plan, deliver and manage effective initiatives such as our flagship Light Up A Life donation campaign, our Regular Giving programme and seasonal donation asks, maximising donations and donor retention. Forge meaningful supporter relationships : Working closely with our Marketing Team, you will create compelling communications and materials to show local people the impact they can make by supporting Dougie Mac. Maximise Gift Aid opportunities : Lead our efforts on maximising and promoting our Gift Aid scheme. Dougie Mac currently claims over £170k of Gift Aid every year Provide an excellent donor experience: Help to welcome supporters who visit or contact us to ask for help with their fundraising plans or to donate money. Our Community Fundraising Team work closely together with a focus on delivering an exceptional supporter journey. We are a team of 4 staff and regular volunteers. Joining this team would take our headcount to 5. You will work a minimum of one day a week on our Fundraising Hub, based in our main reception area and will share an office with another Income Generation fundraiser for the remaining time. Salary: £24,000k - £26k depending on experience/ qualifications with a clear progression plan and opportunities for study. Full time is 37.5 hours. Standard hours of work are 9am – 5pm across 6 days, Monday-Saturday. Saturday working will be on a 5 week rota basis working on our Fundraising Hub.
