Our SDR - Life Insurance role is on the front lines of the Policygenius customer experience: managing inbound and outbound calls with customers applying for life insurance, and ensuring they receive best in class service. In addition, you will be responsible for thinking on your feet as you receive a variety of questions from prospective and existing customers with intent to resolve their questions/concerns or transfer to the appropriate representative and department. The objective is to move our clients to resolution when they are facing blockers during the life insurance application process. Our Sales Development Representative team thrives on collaboration, creative competitions, and thoughtful communication with customers as we drive a positive, tech-enhanced experience in an industry typically known for being old-school and paper-based. With an incredibly collaborative environment, this team is perfect for someone who is competitive but eager to have a material impact in a sales support role. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Handle proactive outreach for our inbound/outbound dialer campaigns to connect with customers who have been sent a life insurance application and need to collect signatures and/or complete an exam On the fly - be able to identify and anticipate how to eagerly assist inbound callers and handle the call to resolution or triage the call to the appropriate team Use a consultative approach to guide customers through questions Work closely with sales to solve complex client/process problems Execute on ad hoc projects that help improve sales results through re-engagement Ensure prospective and existing customers receive unparalleled service Be flexible and must be comfortable with changing priorities and responsibilities Be comfortable learning and using a company specific CRM system for case/customer management Be willing to participate in a feedback loop that goes both ways to ensure processes and procedures make sense in an ever-changing environment WHAT YOU’LL NEED: You have prior experience in a high-volume, dialer-based sales role, prior experience in life insurance is preferred, but not You are self-motivated, driven, and excited to continue to grow in your career You’re eager to find yourself among a diverse group of competitive peers, always learning from each other You are passionate about helping people and are comfortable pivoting in conversation or action to assist the client in coming to a resolution. The salary range for this role is a good faith estimate, it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations. The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $45,000. All offers presented to candidates are carefully reviewed to ensure fair, equitable pay by offering competitive salaries that align with the individual’s skills, education, experience, training, and geographic location. The range may vary above or below the stated amounts.
