Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a technical instructor (TI) to join the Short-Term Support Service based in Blyth on a full time basis, working 37.5 hours per week. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to join a busy and dynamic community team, working to deliver rehabilitation programs to clients in their own homes. The Short-Term Support Service comprises of therapists and care staff who offer assessment, rehabilitation and re-enablement to support clients who may have experienced a short-term illness or a temporary deterioration in an existing condition. The successful candidates would work alongside qualified physiotherapists and occupational therapists, who would devise rehabilitation programs to be delivered by the Technical Instructors. They would also carry a non-complex caseload of their own which may include equipment provision to aid client independence. Main duties of the job To carry out delegated duties, contributing to the planning / maintenance and development of the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Service and acting as a valuable resource to other members of the multidisciplinary team.
