Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the smooth daily operation of all aspects of the Spa
* Assign job tasks to spa team, as suited to their role and promote a high level of performance and motivation amongst the department
* Handle any guest complaints that arise, requests and enquiries on departmental services
* Prioritise guest satisfaction and establish positive relationships to better understand their requirements
* Organise and check that all Spa areas are set as per the Standard Operating Procedures
* Provide service promptly, courteously, and accurately
* Assist in providing departmental Employee Onboarding to newly recruited team members
* Ensure all collateral such as guest welcome letters, promotional materials and confirmation letters are finalized in advance
* Take responsibility of the Spa in the absence of the Spa & Wellness Manager
* Co-ordinate operations on the spa reception desk, including performing reception duties when required
* Encourage open communication with all team members throughout your day-to-day activities
* Order and supply all therapist paperwork (Guest Consultations etc.)
* Meet retail targets and treatment targets
* Continually strive to improve spa treatment and retail targets
* Display initiative to assist in making the Spa financially successful
* Continue to look for ways that the Spa can be more cost-effective by researching and comparing current and prospective suppliers for all products
Key Skills, Qualities & Experience
* Be able to manage time effectively and have a high degree of self-management and excellent organisational skills
* Have the capability to support management and work as a team member
* Have the ability to speak, coach, mentor and build a team
* Positively influence the team to meet the goals of the business
* Internationally recognized qualification in Beauty Therapy and Massage Level 2 and 3 qualifications
* Food & Beverage knowledge and experience is preferred, but not essential
* Experience in a 5-star spa is preferred
* Detail orientated individual who drives standards
* Possess a positive attitude and a desire to learn
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
* Friendly, courteous and helpful with excellent communication skills
* Motivated to go the extra mile for guests and colleagues
* Use of own initiative with willingness to go above and beyond in supporting the wider Grantley Hall team
