Key Responsibilities:
1. Day to day management and delivery of Personnel Security policies, procedures, risk assessments and associated security processes.
2. Responsible for implementation of National Security Vetting (NSV), through systematic liaison with UK Security Vetting (UKSV).
3. Managing Aftercare within the company and any subordinate organisations that the company provides sponsorship for, in accordance with Industry Personnel Security Assurance (IPSA) requirements.
4. Ensure that all Aftercare activities are managed and undertaken promptly and effectively, liaising with HR and welfare organisations within the company as necessary.
5. Ensure that the company’s Personnel Security business processes are compliant with relevant legislation, and that the company operates according to the principles embedded in relevant UK Government standards.
Qualification Requirements
1. A minimum of 3 years-experience working with UK Personnel Security processes across all National Security Clearances, MOD and / or NATO security rules and regulations.
2. Experience in the use of UKSV system (NSVS) relevant to staff, contractors and sub-contractors.
3. Conversant with IPSA Accreditation and requirements of Aftercare and Aftercare reporting protocols.
4. General understanding of Data Protection and GDPR principles.
5. Experience with the maintenance of vetting records and management of associated Personnel Security Risk Registers.
6. Conversant with the BPSS process and capable of implementing and managing the process for numerous contractors and sub-contractors.
