In the role of Water/Wastewater EIT, we'll count on you to:
1. Create detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment systems and collection systems under instruction from the Project Engineer
2. Prepare plans for water and wastewater systems, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater treatment distribution and collection systems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and work directly with the owner
3. Conduct quality control reviews of completed designs
4. Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree preferred
2. Preference given to local candidates
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
2. Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
3. Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities
4. AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience
5. Microsoft Office experience
6. Must be able to work in a team environment
7. An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
