Job Summary:The Granulation Expert is expected to initiate, propose, and execute research and development, debottlenecking/revamp, and new product development programs directed towards the improvement of processes and the introduction of new products.Lead in-house new process technology development, scale-up & implementations in commercial granulation.Provide technology support to commercial plants for shutdown, turnover, and recommissioning as needed.Provide troubleshooting & root cause analysis support and drive problem resolution for commercial plants.The technologist is also expected to provide support in growth projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide troubleshooting & root cause analysis support for commercial plants.
2. Lead various new post-reactor product developments through Granulation Techniques.
3. Participate in in-house new process technology development, scale-up & implementations in commercial plants.
4. Engage and lead feasibility studies & revamp studies for effective granulator operation at plant scale and semi-commercial scales.
5. Independently review engineering documents & provide steering input.
6. Design and supervise pilot plant experimental runs, including preliminary reviews, data interpretation, and final reporting.
7. Collect and interpret plant process data to make recommendations for improvements and ensure standardized work processes are optimized.
8. Actively contribute to plant safety and quality programs.
Requirements:
This role requires the candidate to permanently relocate to Jubail, Saudi Arabia.Preferably holds a Masters or PhD degree; Masters degree with a minimum of 15 years of experience or PhD with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Technology Development, Plant Support, Modeling, and Optimization.Demonstrated strategic thinking and planning abilities, strong leadership skills to effectively collaborate and influence individuals from diverse disciplines and cultures.Ability to create, foster, and drive a culture of innovation within the organization.
