If you’re a technically skilled project manager with a passion for live events and a knack for problem-solving in high-pressure environments, we want to hear from you About the Role As the Technical Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of projects from concept to on-site delivery, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards. You’ll work across sound, video, lighting, scenic, and staging, collaborating closely with producers, designers, and technical teams to bring creative visions to life. Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Manage all aspects of technical production, including pre-production planning, budgeting, and on-site delivery. Technical Expertise: Develop technical specifications, equipment lists, and detailed production schedules. On-Site Management: Lead crews during rigging, showtime, and de-rigging phases, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Collaboration: Work with internal and external teams to meet client expectations, resolve challenges, and deliver high-quality results. Health & Safety: Create risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards throughout the project lifecycle. Design Support: Collaborate with design teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy in execution, using tools like Vectorworks where needed. Travel: Regular travel to client locations in the UK and internationally. What We’re Looking For Experience: Previous technical experience in live events, ideally in lighting, audio, or video. Background in corporate events is a plus. Familiarity with health & safety in project management. Skills: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft 365; knowledge of Vectorworks is an advantage. Calm and solution-focused under pressure, with excellent communication skills. Attributes: Agile and proactive, with a commitment to excellence and safety. Personable and collaborative, thriving in team-oriented environments. Requirements: Full UK driving licence, own transport, and a valid passport. Why Join?
