Search are supporting the recruitment of an interim Transactional Finance Manager to oversee our client's Billing, Credit Control, and Supplier processes on an initial 6 month basis. Based in Edinburgh with hybrid working, if you have demonstrable experience leading a transactional finance team with knowledge of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable, you'd be encouraged to apply. Your key responsibilities will include: Manage and mentor a team, ensuring effective output and career development. Oversee AP & AR functions, ensuring effective controls. Build positive team culture and drive continuous process improvements. Manage payables, client collections, aged debtors and credit risk. Develop KPI metrics and report to Senior Management. Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and manage corporate card spend. Support system implementations and finance transformation projects. Provide insight and reporting to wider Finance teams. Skills & experience you'll ideally have: Extensive experience in AP/AR functions. Proven track record of managing small teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to consider the bigger picture. What's in it for you: A salary of circa 47k-52k.
