Wind Turbine Technician - Major Component Exchange
Base Location: East Kilbride
Working Pattern: Full Time 40 hours per week

What is the Role?
You will be working with a team of technicians who take pride in the operation and maintenance of their fleet.
Responsibilities:
1. Reporting of EHS site-based issues to the SHEQ Manager
2. Preparation works for major operations
3. All exchange MO works
4. Completion of task-specific documentation
5. Completion certificates
6. Server end of work file review
7. Lessons learned files
8. Provision of tooling requirements for MO works
Utilizing information from our operations team, you will also perform scheduled maintenance, fault rectification, and major component exchanges on our customers' fleet of turbines on a daily basis.
Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Preferably 1-year previous experience as Wind Turbine Technician on V47/G52 technologies
2. Professional training in electrical engineering sector (electrician, power electronics system, mechatronic engineer, aviation engineer) OR professional training in mechanical engineering sector
3. Previous experience of WTG major operations
4. Familiar with MS-Office operating system, Word/Excel
5. High degree of quality awareness; fault finding, and diagnostic skills combined with the ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, and problems as they arise
6. Team player
7. Confident personality - good customer interfacing skills
8. Able to work at heights
9. High degree of flexibility
10. Prepared to travel throughout the UK if required
11. Professional qualification in an Electrical/Electromechanical/Mechanical discipline (Desired)
