Prepworld have an exiting new opportinity for a Category Executive to join our Category, Marketing & NPD team within the Commercial department, Reporting in to the Category Manager, you will support in the delivery of PrepWorld’s commercial objectives with a particular focus on Category and Marketing strategy and workstreams. Responsibilities will focus on the management and delivery of market data and actionable insight across multiple sources supporting both internal and customer-focused activities. You will also support the continuing development and delivery of PrepWorld’s Marketing strategy through multiple communications channels. Main Duties: Work with the wider Commercial team (including Account Managers, NPD and Packaging) to further develop PrepWorld’s short and longer-term Commercial strategy across different channels and product categories Establish strong working relationships within the wider PrepWorld team and across our customer base Support in the delivery of day-to-day customer workstreams such as range reviews, periodic reviews, and NPD briefs. Work closely with Account Managers and the NPD team to devise and deliver initiatives to drive total market growth and customer specific plans to increase sales and profitability. Support internal communication of the boarder market and PrepWorld performance in a structured format. Manage and deliver market and consumer data and insight from multiple sources including IRI, Kantar and IGD. Ensure continued evolution of market and customer analysis through enhanced category segmentation and definitions. Support the continued development and delivery of PrepWorld’s Marketing strategy through multiple communications channels Travel to other company or off-site meeting locations may be required from time to time Who we are looking for: Degree educated. 1 year experience either within a FMCG Category & Insights role, or within a data agency. A passion for food and drink. Understanding of data management and analysis across platforms such as IRI, Kantar and IDG resulting in actionable insights. Commercial acumen. A relentless curiosity in understanding the ‘why’ behind the ‘what’. A driven, self-starter able to establish, foster and build great customer relationships. Well-developed communication skills. Able to represent the company strongly both internally and externally. Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and work to deadlines. Strong team and ‘can do’ work ethic. Well organised and clear methodical ways of working. Experience with Microsoft Office Excel & PowerPoint.
