Are you ready to be part of an educational community that creates an environment where children can flourish? We are looking to appoint an exceptional & dedicated Teacher of Science to join our team. The successful candidate will develop, plan, and deliver effective, high-quality learning experiences for all students, ensuring progression is central to all lesson plans and giving our students the confidence to think big for themselves as they progress through our academy.
Key responsibilities:
1. Reporting to the Head of Department
2. Have high expectations of learners to ensure they achieve their full educational potential
3. Set challenging teaching and learning objectives relevant to all students in your classes
4. Have knowledge of a range of assessment approaches, including questioning, oral assessment, self-assessment, and the importance of formative assessment
5. Make effective use of assessment monitoring and recording strategies to assess learning needs and plan for future teaching
6. Identify and support learners affected by personal difficulties or changes
Pay range: MPS/UPS - (£31,650 - £49,084)
Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Proven experience in delivering outstanding teaching and learning
* Passion for creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to the academy’s values and ethos
