About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Special Needs Support Worker to provide care and support to two children, aged 14 and 10, both with autism. The primary focus will be on the 14-year-old, who has severe autism, a learning disability, anxiety, and type 1 diabetes. Key responsibilities include:
Providing individualized support and care
Assisting with daily routines and activities
Managing and monitoring diabetes (training will be provided)
Promoting emotional well-being and positive behaviour
Occasionally supporting the 10-year-old sibling with mild autism

Pay rate: £11.44 per hour
Annual leave: The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work normally done during 5.6 weeks (statutory entitlement).
Expenses: You will be reimbursed for prior agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
Sick pay: I do not operate a private sick pay scheme but provided you meet the eligibility criteria, you may be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP).
