The Mental Health division of Nottinghamshire Healthcare Foundation Trust comprises three directorates: Adult Mental Health, Mental Health Services for Older People, and Specialist Services. More than 2,800 dedicated staff provide vital healthcare services for our patients in a variety of settings, ranging from community to acute wards.

Main Duties of the Job
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, dynamic, and self-motivated Band 5 Nurses to work within our Local Mental Health Teams. You will need to engage proactively with individuals using the principles of recovery to provide effective care under CPA. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the service and develop your own skills.
Job Responsibilities
Duties will include the case management of clients with complex mental health needs, utilizing professional core skills, working with family and friends, and running medication clinics. The role will include involvement in the development and promotion of the Local Mental Health Teams.
A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however, reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.

* Able to undertake training in the management of violence and reduction
* Has physical ability to perform the full range of nursing duties
Qualifications
* Professional Qualification
* Maintains current registration with NMC
* Demonstrate continued professional development to maintain professional registration
Experience
* Demonstrates satisfactory clinical expertise for the banding
* Specialist and area-specific experience
Skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Good written/oral communications
* Diplomatic, caring, and sympathetic
* Ability to be flexible and handle conflict issues
* Good skills in assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patients' nursing care
Knowledge
* Knowledge & understanding of current legislation and clinical risk assessments
* Knowledge of the Nursing 6 C's
* Awareness of national and local issues impacting nursing care
