As a Learning Facilitator you will have responsibility for looking after a number of tutor groups, supporting their wellbeing and progression both pastorally and academically. You will instruct a tutorial programme that delivers subject matter across a wide range of topics such as; PREVENT, British Values, Citizenship and Healthy relationships. Be supported by quality/performance team with the aim to share/observe good practice to enhance the student experience. Experience of team working, the ability to support students in a learning situation, providing pastoral support and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Successful candidates will need to be pro-active, flexible and dynamic in responding to individuals or groups of students, as required. To support student educational recovery, you will help to promote positive mental health and encourage students to engage in activities appropriate to their needs. Key Responsibilities: · Coordinate the instruction of a high-quality, innovative and engaging tutorial programme with relevant content to develop student skills, knowledge and behaviour, meeting the needs of all students in relation to their vocational subject and level of study; · To support the retention and attendance of students by monitoring the effectiveness of the tutorial programme. To drive student progress through attendance, retention and achievement that exceed College KPIs.
